About MassHVAC

What MassHVAC does

MassHVAC helps Massachusetts homeowners install heat pumps, central AC, ductless mini-splits, and geothermal systems — with full transparency on Mass Save rebates and the real cost-after-rebate math for 2026. The installation work itself is delivered by our partner, Comfitrust.

How the partnership works

When you submit a quote request, we coordinate the in-home assessment with Comfitrust. Comfitrust performs the Manual J load calculation, equipment selection (from the Mass Save Heat Pump Qualified Products List), install, and Mass Save rebate filing on your behalf. MassHVAC stays in the loop on the pricing transparency side; Comfitrust handles the trade work.

Editorial standards

Every Mass Save figure on this site is dated, sourced to a primary reference (Mass Save, MA DOER, ENERGY STAR, IRS), and re-verified before publish. The federal §25C and §25D heat pump tax credits that expired December 31, 2025 are correctly flagged as expired — many competitor sites still list them as active. We do not invent reviews, ratings, or technician names. See the Incentives Changelog for the full dated record of program changes since 2025.
